 FIRST VARIATION MODEL 25

 

 This is the first variation of the Daisy Model 25 pump bbgun.  It was manufactured in Plymouth, Mi. in 1914.  These guns were blued or black nickel, (this gun was re-nickeld by Daisy some years ago & the owner decided not to have the nickel blackened).

It has a straight walnut stock & a short cocking lever that measures 6" from the end of the barrel.  This variation, is the only Model 25 with the adjustable front sight.

The rear sights are adjustable as well.  The walnut slide handle has 5 groves & the slide lever is held to the barrel with claw mounts which extend over the sides of the barrel.

The trigger guard is folded sheet metal with reinforced square back.  Please note: The takedown screw is larger than the newer ones measuring 5/8".

SECOND VARIATION MODEL 25

 

This is the second variation of the Daisy Model 25 pump bbgun.  It was manufactured in Plymouth, Mi. in 1917.  These guns were blued.

It has a straight walnut stock & a short cocking lever that measures 6" from the end of the barrel.  This variation, was the first Model 25 with the fixed front sight blade.

This is the fourth variation of the Daisy Model 25 pump bbgun.  It was manufactured in Plymouth, Mi. in 1930.  These guns were blued.

It was the first Model 25 with a pistol grip walnut stock & a long cocking lever that measures 4" from the end of the barrel.  This variation, was the third Model 25 with the fixed front sight blade.

The rear sights are still adjustable.  The walnut slide handle was the first to have 6 groves & the slide lever is held to the barrel without the claw mounts, but is spot welded on the underside of the barrel.

The trigger guard is a single piece of bent metal.  Please note: The takedown screw is the newer smaller scew which measures 6/16".

 FIFTH VARIATION MODEL 25

CORK GUN

This is the fifth variation of the Daisy Model 25 pump single shot corkgun.  It was manufactured in Plymouth, Mi. in 1936.  These guns were blued or nickeled.

It was the second Model 25 with a pistol grip walnut stock & a long cocking lever that measures 4" from the end of the barrel.  This variation, was the fourth Model 25 with the fixed front sight blade.

The rear sights are still adjustable.  The walnut slide handle was the second to have 6 groves & the slide lever is held to the barrel without the claw mounts, but is spot welded on the underside of the barrel.
