  GoJoneses

Hi All, my name is Ken Jones. Born August 1948 in Folsom, California. I now live in Tucson, Arizona.home of the notorious "DRY HEAT!". Both my Dad and Granddad are from Arizona.  I love collecting and started my Daisy collection with a very nice "Buck Jones" (go figure.), I now have two, one with the compass face that turns and one needle type.  I also have a copper banded Red Ryder, a #12 model 24, several 1894's (including the NRA boxed set with the 179 pistol), several 1938B's, three 179 Peacemakers with holsters, one Targette pistol (chrome), a #50 "Golden Eagle" (missing sight tube), a 'Buzz Barton" (also missing sight tube), a #140 Defender, and a couple of pellet guns and other lesser Daisy's.
My first Daisy was a 179 pistol, got it for Christmas in 19662 (?).wish I still had it but it went the way of many of my other things when I went off to college (yard sale!). I also collect old Stanley woodworking planes (over 60 at last count), old Coleman lanterns, 1940's radios, western stuff (old chap's, holsters, 22's, rifle scabbards, misc.) Needless to say, the thrill is in the hunt!
Married (second time) 22 years (think I'm going to keep this one!) I can relate with others when their wives say "UPS is here.what did you buy this time?". She wishes I didn't collect so much "junk" but knows there are worse vices out there.
We've got four kids (2 hers, 2 mine) all grown and out of the house.one granddaughter, Isabella, born on my birthday! Had to promise to pay for her college to get that to happen, baby was 2 weeks early. She's the sparkle in her "Papa's" eye!  I'll teach her to shoot if I can get her Mom to agree.son-in-law is an easier sell.
I drive a 4X4 Ford truck and love to get into the Arizona back country when I can.I'm a Real Estate Broker and General contractor, seems like WORK OCCUPIES WAY TOO MUCH OF MY TIME!
I hope to be an asset to AIR GUNS USA and am looking forward to a long friendship with other "junk" collectors like myself.
Regards, Ken
