| Hello Everyone. My name is Grant Stace, and as the nickname suggests, i'm from Christchurch, New Zealand.I was born in 1952, which makes me the tender age of 52. I am a self employed Tool & Die maker, working from a small Toolroom at the rear of my property. I have a total of 5 sons, ranging in age from 27 down to 5. The two youngest are at home here with their Mum and Dad.The 3 eldest have left the nest. I have had an air rifle or pistol of some sort since my Dad bought ( OUR ) first one to scare cats away from his bird aviary at night.I must admit the air rifle in my hands, ended up killing more birds than it ever protected. Over my younger years i went through a couple of Diana's, a Falke Mod 40 and a Crosman SA6 that didn't hold CO2, but looked real neat at the time. At about 17 i got a second hand Crosman 147 off a friend, it became my only airgun for 20 odd years. I still have it.About 5 years ago, my Father in Law gave me an old Tex 086 air pistol that he had found in the shed of a Deceased relative. Cleaning it up and shooting it, got me Hooked again. Since then i have amassed a " Typical" N.Z.collection of all sorts.I do however lean towards Webley, BSA and Crosman with a liberal sprinkling of Daisy models. My knowledge of Daisy Airguns is fairly limited, so i would rather listen to advise about them, than give it. However i will endevour to be of assistance in other ways to Members, with advise if possible. I will post some pictures of my different models as soon as i have sorted out how to go about it. Thank you. Grantthekiwi. | | 3D Animated Flags Courtesy of 3DFlags.com |
