My name is Bob Fosset and I was born in 1951 here in Illinois.  I know I had a Daisy bb rifle when young but don't recall the model and with two younger brothers it is long gone.  I do remember taking apart my 179 and watching springs and parts go everywhere.  That was one gun that never worked again.  I have a few more air guns  now and am smarter at working on them, (think containment of flying parts).  I have more Crosmans now than Daisys, along with a few other manufacturers.  I am trying to just collect pre70 guns but still need quite a few variations.
