  Redeye1934

I'm Dave and was born in the historic year of 1934  --  hence the tag to my webname.  Have had two families, the first with two girls and a boy, the second with three girls.  Hobbies include black powder rifles, muzzle loading rifles and pistols  --  shooting, building, and collecting, pistol target shooting, and dogs.  I have been training dogs since about 1958 and now teach dog obedience for the local Humane Society group.  I live south of Indianapolis, Indiana East of a smaller town, Greenwood.

I am a sports watcher but not a tremendous fan.  Mostly prefer basketball but keep tabs on the Colts too.
I have had a Daisy since I was a kid in the 1930's.  With my old BB gun (made by KING MANUFACTURING CO. IN PLYMOUTH, MICHIGAN), I could hit a good percentage of cans tossed up in the air by my friends.  My shooting branched out into target pistol and muzzle loading and I kinda forgot my BB gun background until I visited the Fred Harmon Red Ryder art museum in Pagosa Springs,Colorado this summer.  My interest in my BB gun was reignited and I purchased a new Daisy and had Fred autograph it for one of my grandkids. (The one who gets it will be determined by in-family competition !!!!!!   and display of proper interest)

When I got home I pulled out all my old Daisys and found that I had three.  I am now trying to gather info on these guns, get them all back into safe and good working order, and locate som more to keep them company.
